SCPD Searching for Lake Grove Petit Larceny Suspect

A woman used a stolen gift card and cash to make a purchase at a Macy's department store.
Lake Grove, NY - May 19, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used a stolen gift card to purchase merchandise at a department store in Lake Grove.
A stolen gift card and cash were used to make purchases at Macy’s, located at the Smithaven Mall in Lake Grove, on April 10, 2014. The gift card and money were stolen from a wallet that was left in a bathroom at Panera Bread, located on Alexander Avenue in Lake Grove earlier that day.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
