This 9-hole public golf course is situated on the grounds of the Veterans Hospital. A relatively short layout measures 2,410 yards and has a par value of 35. Only three holes are between 325 yards and 400 yards. The fairways are tree-lined but broad. Overall, this course may be ideal for beginners, but it also offers a challenge to intermediate players. The fairways and greens are kept in great condition and staffing is friendly and helpful. Electric carts are available for rental. Veterans, seniors and juniors qualify for discounts. The course is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily during the golf season.
