Also known as the Babylon Village Golf Course or the E. Donald Conroy Golf Course, this 9-hole public facility was created by Land Design Associates in 1999. It is owned and operated by Babylon Village. There are actually two playing opportunities, a 994-yard White Course and a 1,156-yard Blue Course. All holes are par 3 in value for a total par of 27. Most of the greens are medium in size and flat although some offer a gentle slope that can be challenging. Five elevated greens add interest as do the one-acre pond and creek, which serve as water hazards, and numerous well-placed bunkers. The tees tend to be short and simple. This is an excellent course for beginners and those golfers of all levels who wish to practice their short game. The short iron and the wedge will get a good workout at Sumpwams Creek. A driving range and on-site pro services are also available. The setting is tranquil and lovely. This is an ideal spot for a friendly game with the family or associates.
