SCPD are seeking the public’s help to locate the man who attempted to use a stolen debit card.

East Setauket, NY - December 27, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to use a stolen debit card earlier this month.
 
A man attempted to use a debit card at an ATM at Bank of America, located at 15 Bennetts Road in East Setauket, on December 1 at approximately 7 a.m. The card had been stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked at a home on Seabrook Court in Stony Brook earlier that day. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
