Victim Beaten, Robbed of Cell Phone in Valley Stream by Unknown Assailants, Police Report

NCPD are investigating a robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Thursday, 12/14.

Valley Stream, NY - December 15, 2017 - Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Thursday, 12/14/17 at 5:00 P.M.
 
According to detectives, four to five male subjects approached a male victim, 22, from behind, while in Hendrickson Park located on Merrick Rd. The subjects punched the victim in the face and knocked him to the ground, where they continued to punch and kick him.  
 
They then took his IPhone 7 and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The victim sustained abrasions to his face and finger and was transported by private auto to a local hospital.
 
The subjects are 17-24 years of age; two male blacks, one male white, and two unknown race. No further description is available.
