Albany, NY - December 11, 2017 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that OneJet will be offering non-stop flights between Buffalo and Albany beginning on February 1, 2018. The new flight will offer a direct link between the Capital Region and New York State's largest upstate city, and will operate two times per day at convenient times for business travelers.
"The return of Buffalo to Albany air service is a testament to our efforts to revitalize the Western New York economy that will only add to the momentum of this region's renaissance," Governor Cuomo said. "OneJet is a brand new airline to the Queen City, one that caters to people who want to get their business done quickly and go back home to their families. We welcome the expanded service this company will provide and look forward to building upon it even further as we continue to move Western New York forward."
Flights between Buffalo Niagara International Airport and Albany International Airport will be as follows:
- BUF to ALB: departing 7:00 a.m. ET; arriving 7:55 a.m. ET
- ALB to BUF: departing 8:20 a.m. ET; arriving 9:20 a.m. ET
- BUF to ALB: departing 4:50 p.m. ET; arriving 5:45 p.m. ET
- ALB to BUF: departing 6:10 p.m. ET; arriving 7:10 p.m. ET
OneJet will also offer new service between Buffalo and Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina. This summer, the company began offering direct flights from Albany to Pittsburgh.

"The historic investments made by Governor Cuomo over the past six years have made this a more attractive market for air carriers at a time when the airport is preparing for a major expansion in anticipation of increased traffic. I thank the governor for his commitment to Western New York, and the team at Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority for making this milestone possible."

OneJet provides increased access to non-stop travel in mid-sized markets at a relatively competitive price. The service will be operated by the company's Hawker 400XP jet aircraft. Passengers on the routes will enjoy a variety of travel-enhancing benefits, including TSA Pre-access for eligible travelers, expedited boarding, complimentary high speed WiFi, and a selection of healthy snacks.
New York State Department of Transportation Acting Commissioner Paul A.
