Suspect Wanted for Roosevelt Mugging

Roosevelt, NY - November 25th, 2014 - First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 8:30 pm in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, while walking on E. Clinton Avenue near the intersection of Cottage Place, the victim, a 57 year old male, was approached by two male black subjects who were on bicycles. The subjects punched the victim about his face causing him to fall to the ground. Once on the ground, both subjects went through his pockets removing his cell phone and wallet. They then fled the scene southbound on E. Clinton Avenue towards Nassau Road.

The victim, who sustained swelling to his face, refused medical attention at the scene. He described both subjects as being 5’8”to 6’0” tall, 180 pounds and between 20 to 25 years of age.
