SCPD: Center Moriches Man Arrested for 2nd Degree Murder After Fatally Stabbing Mother

Christopher Storm Harrison, 26, stabbed Joyce Skarka during a domestic dispute at their home, cops say.

SCPD have arrested Christopher Storm Harrison of Center Moriches, 26, who fatally stabbed his mother on Friday, November 17.

Center Moriches, NY - November 20, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have arrested a man who fatally stabbed his mother in Center Moriches, New York on Friday, November 17, 2017.
 
Christopher Storm Harrison stabbed Joyce Skarka during a domestic dispute at their home, located on Union Ave., at 9:41 p.m. Skarka, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Suffolk County Chief Medical Examiner.  
 
Homicide Squad detectives charged Harrison, 26, with Murder 2nd Degree.
 
Harrison is being held at the Seventh Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on November 19.
