Huntington Station, NY - November 15, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator William R. Spencer, M.D. was pleased to join local leaders as the Suffolk County Police Commissioner Tim Sini announced the encouraging results from a coordinated effort to crackdown on crime in Huntington Station. “Violent crime is down 71.4% in Huntington Station over the last 28 days, compared with the same period last year,” said Commissioner Sini.

“This significant reduction of crime in our community is validation that the combined efforts of the Suffolk County Police Department, led by Commissioner Tim Sini, the Town of Huntington, the residents of Huntington Station and its stakeholders are paying off. Protecting the safety of the public is never a done deal, so let’s not rest on our laurels, but continue to strengthen our partnerships and show our region that Huntington Station is a safe place to live, work and play,” stated Legislator William R.
