Massapequa Woman Accused of Driving Drunk with 9 Year-Old Daughter in Vehicle, Cops Say

NCPD reports the arrest of Roseanne Disimone of Massapequa, 59, for DWI.

Massapequa, NY - November 8, 2018 - Seventh Precinct officers report the arrest of a Massapequa woman for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 3:40 pm in Massapequa.
 
According to police, officers responded to an auto accident that occurred in front of 145 Forest Avenue at 3:40 pm. After conducting an initial investigation, officers determined that Roseanne Disimone, 59, who was involved in a minor accident, was operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition and was placed under arrest. At the time of the collision Disimone had her 9 year old daughter in the rear seat of the vehicle. No injuries were reported and the child was released at the scene to her Godmother.
 
Disimone is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Operating a Motor Vehicle with more than .08% Alcohol in Blood, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (Leandra’s Law) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 11/8/2018.
