NCPD: Woman Sneaks into Hewlett Sushi Restaurant, Steals Currency from Basement

The suspect removed the cash and fled in an unknown direction within a vehicle, cops say.

NCPD reports a Burglary that occurred in Hewlett.

Hewlett, NY - October 30, 2018 - Fourth Squad Detectives report the details of a Burglary in Hewlett that occurred on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 P.M.
According to detectives, a 35 year old male employee that works at Xaga Sushi Restaurant located at 1330 Broadway discovered an undetermined amount of US currency had been removed from the basement of the business. The Police were called. An investigation revealed that a female black entered the restaurant through a rear door. Suspect removed the cash and fled in an unknown direction within a white vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
