WMHO Announces Long Island’s Got Talent 2015 Winners

Stony Brook, NY - October 30, 2015 - Created by the Ward Melville Heritage Youth Corps, the Long Island’s Got Talent annual competition gives students from all across Long Island the opportunity to showcase their amazing talents!  Five Towns College sponsored the event once again awarding $25,000 in scholarships.  Julianna Gape of Setauket came away with the $6,000 scholarship for 1st Place Vocalist. 

Additional winners were:

  • Dori-Jo Gutierrez (Guitar) Northport:  2nd Place - $5,000 Scholarship
  • Taylor Hogan (Vocalist) Massapequa Park:  3rd Place - $4,000 Scholarship
  • The Unknown Heroes (Band) Commack/Kings Park/Northport:  4th Place - $3,000 Scholarship
  • Megan O’Haire (Piano/Keyboard) Smithtown:  5th Place - $3,000 Scholarship
  • Katie Zimmer (Vocalist) Commack:  6th Place - $2,000 Scholarship
  • Timothy Sherlock (Vocalist) Huntington:  7th Place - $2,000 Scholarship
