Man Knocks Down Store Employee While Fleeing with Stolen Tools, Cops Say

Police: A man stole merchandise from Kmart in Huntington Station and attacked a loss prevention employee.

Huntington Station, NY - October 24, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a Huntington Station store earlier this month.
 
A man stole power tools, accessories and other merchandise from Kmart, located at 839 New York Avenue, on October 15 at approximately 2:30p.m.  The man attempted to punch a loss prevention employee before pushing her to the ground. He fled wearing a stolen baseball hat with the words “Super Lit” on it. He attempted to get into a newer model red sedan before fleeing on foot.
