The Car Show Long Island Fall Classic scheduled to be held on October 10 at TOBAY beach has been cancelled, according to a statement released by the Town of Oyster Bay.

The annual event brings out thousands of car enthusiasts and families to see classic, vintage, antique and muscle cars and trucks. According to the official website of the event, the last car show saw more than a 1,000 cars gathered together at TOBAY beach. It was their biggest Car Show Long Island todate.

Continuing limits on social gatherings posed challenges that made the event nearly impossible to host.

“With optimism for the near future, the Town Board is happy to announce that the Car Show Long Island Team is planning a 2021 Spring Classic – scheduled for Saturday, April 24th at TOBAY Beach,” the statement said.
