NCPD: Westbury Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Two men stole money and approximately 200 packs of cigarettes from a Westbury store.

Westbury, NY - September 16, 2014 - The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred at a 7-11 store located on Powells Lane in Westbury on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 12:27 am.
 
According to detectives, a 66 year old male cashier was approached by two unknown male subjects. Subject displayed a dark handgun and threw the victim to the ground. Subject two went behind the counter and began filling a black plastic back with approximately 200 packs of cigarettes. Subject one then demanded money from the cash register. Before the victim complied both subjects left and were observed getting into a blue Honda Civic driven by a third subject that then traveled south on Powell Lane.
 
Subject one is described as being male, white, stocky build, 6’00” tall, green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark mask that covers the face, Rubber gloves.
 
Subject two is described as being male, unknown race, black hooded sweatshirt, black hat, black mask, rubber gloves.
