Teenage Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Mastic Motor Vehicle Crash

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a teenage bicyclist in Mastic.  
 
Paiton Muens was struck by a 2016 Toyota RAV4, being operated by Hugo Sinay-Boch, while she was riding her bicycle northbound on Mastic Road, between Hampton Avenue and Main Avenue.
 
Muens, 13, of Mastic, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition. Sinay-Boch, 30, Mastic was not injured.
 
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
