High surf of 5 to 8 feet is possible late Thursday through Friday. Beach flooding and erosion are possible during the times of high tide.

Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Coram man who may be suicidal.
 
Anthony Russo, 35, was last seen at his residence, located at 97 Theodore Drive, on August 20. Russo is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 158 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He drives a white Jeep Liberty with FPL 6504 license plates.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Russo’s location to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or 911.
