Season Opens in Glen Head

A new farm-to-table restaurant opened recently in Glen Head. Billing itself as a seasonal American bistro, Season’s kitchen is run by Chef Joe Marchisotta, a Culinary Institute of America graduate who has worked for over 25 years in some of New York City’s best kitchens.

 

The appetizer menu features Wagyu Sliders, which is wagyu beef burger, carmelized onions, sharp cheddar, sriracha ranch on a king's Hawaiian bun ($15), Bacon Candy, ,ade from slow apple smoked berkshire pork bel;ly with maple bourbon glaze ($15), and Paulie’s Meatballs, a secret recipe ($9).

 

They have a pasta menu featuring Orecchiette Sausage & Rabe ($25), Linguine White Clam, with little neck clams, apple smoked bacon, and clams in velvet ($26), among others.

 

Seafood includes Jumbo Prawns ($38), Halibut ($39), and Salmon ($32). They also have Herb Grilled Chicken ($26), and Smoked Short Rib ($55), and a Dry Aged Rib Eye for Two ($80).

 

On Yelp, Amelia V, from Roslyn, gave it five stars.

 

“My family and I went for dinner expecting nothing extraordinary,” she wrote. “I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food that we enjoyed that evening… Everything is delicious.”

 

Corey B, from New York City said Seasons had great service and great food.

 

“The staff was great, and the chef came out to introduce himself to the customers- so nice,” she wrote. “Will be back.”
