Recently, Brookhaven Town employees and residents did their part to help save lives by turning out for the annual blood drive at Town Hall. The event was co-sponsored by the Town and New York Blood Center (NYBS), a division of New York Blood Center, the nation’s largest community-based non-profit blood collection and distribution organization. NYBS have been providing life-saving blood products and services to 50 hospitals throughout Nassau, Suffolk and Queens for close to 40 years.
