Southampton Arts Center [SAC southamptonartscenter.orgwill wrap up the summer with a live concert by Tony-award nominated Broadway star, vocalist and writer Melissa Errico on August 31st from 7 pm – 9 pm.

Renowned jazz pianist Tedd Firth — a close friend & collaborator of Melissa for decades —- accompanies her with poetic solos.

This concert debuts their upcoming duo album, “I Can Dream, Can’t I?” (October 2025) which is a collection of standards that are not standard. Though many of the songs are familiar, even classics, her songs are those of conversation and reflection.

With songs by Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Joni Mitchell, David Shire, Dave Frishberg, and more, Melissa brings an exceptional, intuitively-discovered body of work taken from the high fresh haystack of the greatest and most appealing, the most ‘accessible,’ of the great theater writers – from Irving Berlin’s introspective, secretive, sensual “Lost in His Arms” to “Why Did I Lose You?” Some are sweet erotic metaphors – “Dancing On the Ceiling”; “Spring Will Be A Little Late This Year”, explored for their own sweet sakes.

Errico's wide-ranging career spans Broadway, television, and film, with notable roles in My Fair LadyHigh Society, and Les Misérables. She continues to be a prominent figure in both New York theater and the global music scene, with recent projects including her album Out Of The Dark: The Film Noir Project, which received critical acclaim during a coast-to-coast concert tour.

Tickets for the performance start at $75 and can be purchased here
