Two Employees at Huntington Station Smoke Show Arrested for Selling Marijuana Products: SCPD

Basam Mohamedyafai, 30, and Mohamed Mubarez, 36, were taken into custody after an investigation revealed that they had been allegedly selling large quantities of cannabis.

The Suffolk County Police Department reports the arrests of two employees at a Huntington Station smoke shop for numerous marijuana products.
 
Basam Mohamedyafai of Yonkers, 30, and Mohamed Mubarez of the Bronx, 36, employees of Cloud Smoke Cigar & Convenience on East 11th Street, were taken into custody after an investigation revealed that they had been allegedly selling large quantities of concentrated cannabis, cannabis, and flavored vape products, police say. Cannabis packing equipment was also discovered at the scene.
 
Mohamedyafai has been charged with one count of unauthorized sale of cannabis without a license; Mubarez has been charged with two counts of unauthorized sale of cannabis products without a license and one count of third-degree criminal possession of cannabis.
 
Both suspects were arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip and issued appearance tickets. In addition, Cloud Smoke Cigar & Convenience was cited for violations by the Town of Huntington.
