SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Shoplifting from Medford Target

Medford, NY - June 17th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from a store in Medford earlier this month.

On June 2, 2014, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a white male entered the Target store, located at 2975 Horseblock Road in Medford and put two 12-packs of Smart Water and a Dyson vacuum cleaner into a shopping cart and exited the store without paying for the items.

It is believed that this suspect may have stolen another Dyson vacuum cleaner one week earlier. He is described as a white male with thinning hair and a medium build. He was wearing a bright green hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
