Man Killed in Cold Spring Harbor Vehicle Crash, According to Suffolk Authorities

Cold Spring Harbor, NY - June 11, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a man in Cold Spring Harbor on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
 
A 33-year-old man was driving a 1999 Ford F-350 westbound on West Main Street near Midland Street when the vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees at approximately 11:40 p.m. Members of the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department and Huntington Fire Department extricated the man from the vehicle.
 
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
