Three Charged with Snatching Packages from Stoops of Nassau County Residences, Cops Say

Garden City, NY - June 5, 2018 - The Nassau County Public Information Office reports the details of  the  arrest of  3 males for Petit Larceny that occurred on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:55 P.M in Garden City South.
 
According to Police, 5th Precinct Officers responded to a call for a larceny of property that had just occurred off the front steps of a residence on Wellington Rd South. Officers located defendant Eric Soto, 24, of Jamaica, NY, in the area. Defendant was in possession of several items of clothing. An investigation was conducted and Soto was arrested without incident. 
 
The investigation also led to the arrest of Yolki Ramirez, 19, of Bronx and Ricardo Polanco Salcedo, 63, of NY, NY. Defendants were found to be acting in concert and had stolen property from the front of 2 residences on Wellington Rd S, Garden City South, 1 residence on Princeton Ave South and 1 residence on Caroline Avenue, Franklin Square. All three defendants were charged with 3 counts of Petit Larceny and 1 count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
 
Defendants were arraigned on June 1, 2018 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
