Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) congratulated the 21 new Nassau County correction officers who were sworn in during a ceremony at the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Saturday, May 1. Legislator Mulé joined her colleagues in the Legislature in the audience during the ceremony, which was led by Nassau County Executive Laura Curran. 
 
“Nassau County is one of the safest counties in the country, and this is possible due to the law enforcement professionals who take an oath to serve and protect the public,” Legislator Mule said. “It was a privilege to attend this ceremony with my colleagues and wish each of the graduates all the best as they embark upon their careers.”
