Nassau County Police Issues Alert for Missing Hempstead Vulnerable Adult

Hempstead, NY - Missing Persons Squad detectives are investigating a missing vulnerable adult that occurred on Monday, April 08, 2019 at 8:20 a.m. in Hempstead and was reported to police on Monday, April 08, 2019 at 12:00 p.m.
 
According to detectives, Henry Nelson, 45, was last seen leaving his home on Winthrop Street and walking northbound. He is described as a male black, 5’9” tall, 150 pounds with black hair and black eyes. He walks with a slight limp. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, red and white shoes and a green and black backpack. The missing suffers from a cognitive disorder and is non-verbal. His possible destination is unknown.
