Valley Stream, NY - April 9, 2018 - The Fifth Squad reports the arrest of a Valley Stream man for Robbery that occurred on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 6:45 pm in Valley Stream.
 
According to detectives, the male victim, 25, was making deliveries for a local Chinese restaurant located in Valley Stream. The victim responded to the vicinity of Washington Avenue and Lyon Street and was approached by an unknown male. The subject displayed a handgun, reached into the victim’s jacket pocket, removed a small zippered bag containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and fled the scene on foot.
 
A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Joseph Kamari, 16.
 
Defendant Kamari is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, April 08, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead
