Authorities Seeking Hit-and-Run Driver that Left Female Pedestrian in Mastic Beach Injured

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Investigative Unit officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle who was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Mastic Beach earlier this year.
 
A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene at the corner of Neighborhood Road and Flower Road on January 1 at 1:45 a.m. The woman, 40, was transported with injuries to a hospital. The vehicle sustained front-end damage and one of the rearview mirrors is believed to have been damaged. In addition to seeking information about the driver, officers are seeking video surveillance and witnesses of the crash.
