Bayport-Blue Point, NY - March 31, 2014 -  Last month, Legislator Bill Lindsay III honored Bayport-Blue Point scholar athlete, Joseph Palma, on the completion of his impressive wrestling career. Joseph pinned his opponent from Smithtown Christian in 1 minute and 11 seconds this winter to earn his 100th career victory; a feat only six other Bayport-Blue Point athletes have accomplished.  In addition to excelling on the mat, Joseph has continuously gone above and beyond in the classroom. He will graduate in the top 15 percent of his class this June and plans to study Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering following graduation.
