SCPD are seeking the driver of a vehicle that struck twins and fled the scene in Central Islip.

Central Islip, NY - March 16, 2018 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that struck twins and fled the scene in Central Islip in January.
 
A 15-year-old female and her twin brother were walking to their bus stop when a vehicle struck the pair, in front of 25 Hemlock Drive, on January 30 at 8:55 a.m. and left the scene. The female suffered serious injuries and her brother received minor injuries.
 
The vehicle is described as a dark red or burgundy truck with white letters and a roof rack that extends from the front to the rear of vehicle.
