In northeast New Jersey, eastern Bergen, eastern Essex, eastern Passaic, eastern Union, Hudson, western Bergen, western Essex, western Passaic, and western Union. In southeast New York, Bronx, Kings (brooklyn), New York (manhattan), northeastern Suffolk, northern Nassau, northern Queens, northern Westchester, northwestern Suffolk, Orange, Putnam, Richmond (staten island), Rockland, southeastern Suffolk, southern Nassau, southern Queens, southern Westchester, and southwestern Suffolk. * Through this afternoon * low pressure approaches the area this morning and passes through this afternoon. Rain becomes heavy at times this morning with the potential for heavy downpours into early afternoon. A total of 1.25 to 2.25 inches of rainfall with locally higher amounts is possible in any stronger convection. Flash flooding of urban and poor drainage areas, as well as small streams will therefore be possible. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. NCPD are investigating a Robbery that occurred in North Bellmore.

New York, NY - March 14, 2018 - First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 3:00A.M. in North Bellmore.
According to detectives, a male black entered the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 2259 Jerusalem Ave displaying a handgun. The suspect while pointing the gun at the 25 year old male clerk demanded cash from the register. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot eastbound Jerusalem Ave with an unknown amount of cash. 
The suspect is described as in his 20’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black sneakers with a white stripe. He is approximately 170 pounds and wore a light colored bandana over his face. No injuries were reported.
