Governor Kathy Hochul today announced that the first of the Dispensary licenses Retail Conditional for Adult Use _ in the Southern Tier will open in Binghamton. The store opening promotes the New York State Planting Opportunity Initiative and the goals equity state in the granting of cannabis licences , which prioritizes the granting of licenses to individuals involved in fairness they are people with a sentenceby cannabis or relatives those close to someone with a , and non -profit organizations that serve people involved in justice . The planning board in Binghamton gave its final approval yesterday at night ,clearing the way for the store to open on February 10 .
"With the opening of new dispensaries like Just Breathe in Binghamton, we continue expanding the most equitable and inclusive cannabis industry in the country here in New York," said Governor Hochul . "New York keeps his commitment to support dispensary owners commercial independent , to New York farmers who put his heart in his harvest already everyone the adults who want enjoy purchased cannabis legally in and from the Empire State".
The inauguration of the dispensary in Binghamton, Just Breathe at 75 Court Street, will be owned and operated by a partnership between a seasoned local businessman, Damien Cornwell, and the non- profitUrban League of Broome County. Cornwell has helped to lead initiatives with BCUL, providing the people involved in justice resources , education and roads toward careers during the last two decades. The store will open in he same place where is it located currently a retailer authorized cannabinoid hemp , which has been successfully entering _ products derivatives of cannabis, such as CBD oil and flowers , to the community from in 2020. For the first time in the South Tier, the licensed dispensary will open for customers in the heart of a revitalized downtown Binghamton with products from growers in the area and inall he New York state . The store will open for public sales at 3 pm on Friday , February 10 . The usual hours of attention will be from Monday to Wednesday , from 12 pm to 8 pm; Thursday, 12 pm-9 pm; Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm; and Saturdays , from 12 pm to 9 pm
