Dos Toros Taqueria, with locations throughout New York City, has opened its first spot on Long Island. They held a grand opening on January 19th.
The new taqueria at 1624 Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park offers 66 seats for burrito, taco and quesadilla fans.
Founded by two brothers who came from the West Coast only to find a dearth of good taqueria spots, they have been expanding their San Francisco Bay Area-inspired food at Dos Toros Taqueria ever since opening their first store 13 years ago.
According to a press release, Dos Toros focuses on "classic Mission-style recipes, cooking everything from scratch."
New Hyde Park Dos Toros is now open for regular hours Sunday - Saturday from 10:30am to 9:30pm.
