Cops: Shots Fired Investigation Leads to Baldwin Man Being Nabbed with Counterfeit Cash

Dwayne C. White, 37, was caught with over $100,000 dollars of counterfeit U.S. currency and firerms that designed to fire blank cartidges, according to reports.

Baldwin, NY - January 29, 2017 - The First Squad reports the arrest of a Baldwin man for Possession of a Forged Instrument that occurred at 7:20 P.M. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Baldwin.
 
According to Detectives, First Precinct Police Officers responded to Everett Court to investigate a report of shots fired. The investigation led the officers to a residence on Everett Court where they encountered a male that had been firing a pistol designed to fire blanks. 
 
The subject Dwayne C. White was found to be in possession of a large sum of counterfeit U.S. currency. Officers also recovered over $100,000 dollars of counterfeit U.S. currency from within the residence in addition to firerms that were designed to fire blank cartidges. Defendant Dwayne C. White, 37 of Baldwin was arrested at scene. 
 
Defendant White is charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st degree, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, January 29, 2018 in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
