Amityville Church Official Arrested for Forcible Touching, Officials Report

Amityville, NY - January 9, 2019 - Suffolk County Police have arrested an official from an Amityville church for forcible touching.
 
A woman reported a man she worked with as part of a radio show produced at the Hollywood Baptist Church, located at 3504 Great Neck Road, touched her inappropriately on multiple occasions between April 2018 and September 2018.
 
Following an investigation, Thomas Humphrey, an official at the church, was charged with Forcible Touching. Humphrey, 79, of North Amityville, was issued an appearance ticket and will be arraigned on a later date.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
