Suffolk County, NY - January 2, 2019 - Suffolk County Police arrested a Greenlawn couple in connection with multiple credit card thefts during a three-day period last week.
 
Following an investigation, Second Squad detectives arrested Tara Costello and Michael Cuozzo at their home on Tuesday, January 1.
 
Costello and Cuozzo were charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree for stealing a purse containing credit cards at Blackstone Steakhouse, located at 10 Pinelawn Road in Melville, on December 23, stealing a purse containing credit cards at McKeown’s Pub, located at 1 Clinton Ave. in Huntington, on December 23 and stealing a wallet containing credit cards at Jenny Craig, located at 723 Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, on December 26.
 
Costello was additionally charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree for stealing a purse containing credit cards from a parishioner during mass at St. Francis of Assisi, located at 29 Clay Pitts Road in Greenlawn, on December 24. She was also charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree for using the stolen credit cards. 
 
Costello, 45, and Cuozzo, 51, were released on bail and will be arraigned at a later date.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
