The Roslyn Landmark Society has been at the forefront of the Long Island preservation movement since it's formation in 1961. Thanks to the hardwork and dedication of the societies members, volunteers, elected officials, and an ever-growing membership the Roslyn Landmark Society is able to offer educational programs for school children, maintains and operates the Van Nostrand-Starkins House, circa 1680, and continues to purcahse and restore other historic buildings in the greater Rosyln area to showcase the 340 years of history residing in the Roslyn village. The Roslyn Landmark Society Archies are available through appointment.
