South Fork Natural History Museum & Nature Center (SoFo) seeks to bring attention to the wonders of Long Island's natural habitats and environment with special emphasis on the unique natural history of the South Fork of this island. Visitors will get up close and personal with native reptiles and amphibians while exploring the many hands-on exhibits and activities including the marine touch tank and butterfly garden. Visitors may also take part in nature walks and other available workshops.
