This 18-hole public golf course was carved out of the striking pine forests in the area in 2006. Bent grass greens, tees and fairways offer a total of four courses from which to play, ranging in distance from 4,868 yards to 6,607 yards and with a par value of 70. The softly rolling layout creates a tranquil atmosphere and a “private country club” feeling. Greens are slow and spacious. There are bunkers and water hazards for increased challenge and a tight, tree-lined layout that will tax all skill levels. Holes are designed to be unique and interesting. Careful landscaping has created a course that seems to effortlessly blend in with the surrounding terrain. Golfers can also practice on the 18-tee grass driving range or the large putting green. A special feature of this course is its ability to recover quickly after rainstorms. The recently completed clubhouse offers typical amenities. Pine Ridge offers free rewards cards and welcome promotions and some of the friendliest staffing on the island. The course is open daily, all year long, weather permitting.
