Heckscher Park, located at Prime Avenue and Route 25A was gifted to the people of Huntington by the late financier and philanthropist August Heckscher and his wife Nannie A. Heckscher. The park spans 18 acres of land and is  now home to Huntington's Annual Fall Festival, Summer Arts Festival, and Spring Tulip Festival.
