Cedar Creek Park offers a little something for everyone. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the many court and fields open for tennis, handball, basketball, soccer and football. Picnic areas are available for parents to relax while their children cut loose on the playground, rated "Best Playground on Long Island" by Long Island Press. A roller rink is open year round and sled hills are open during the Winter months of January and February, weather permitting. A regulation-sized archery range is open to the public along with an aerodrome field for radio-controlled model airplanes. The aerodrome regularly hosts model-aircraft shows.
