Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty (DGSIR), one of the nation's leading realtors, recently participated in the 2011 Sotheby's International Realty ® Global Networking Event, which included nearly 1,150 real estate professionals from 30 countries.

This dynamic, three-day event provided a unique opportunity for all sales associates, managers and owners who are members of the Sotheby's International Realty network to connect, exchange ideas and forge relationships designed to help build their businesses and drive new leads to their listings.

Daniel Gale Sotheby's sent a contingent of senior management, corporate staff and sales managers and associates. Pat Petersen and James P. Retz were both featured panelists on the firm's strategic relationship with Sotheby's auction company. This included the recent Contemporary Art Auction November 9 & 10 at Sotheby's world headquarters in Manhattan. They were joined in Miami by Tom Calabrese, Carol Tintle, Marie Montchal, Susan Poli and Abby Sheeline; sales managers Bonnie Devendorf, Deirdre O'Connell and Dougall Fraser; and sales associates Barbara Candee, Laura Zambratto, Margaret Trautman, Bonnie Williamson, Lois Kirschenbaum, Lisa Gilpin, Christy Porter, Deb Hauser and Christele Amendola. The event, held at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami, Florida featured keynote speaker Aron Ralston, whose hiking accident was the inspiration for the film 127 Hours.
