Selden Man's Unusual Traffic Stop Unveils Loaded Arsenal: Arrested for Weapon Possession and Drug Charges in East Meadow Bust!

A routine traffic stop in East Meadow leads to the arrest of a Selden man, Michael Biscardi, as detectives uncover a concealed cache of loaded handguns and controlled substances in his unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

First Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Selden man for Criminal
Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:08 pm in
East Meadow.
 
According to detectives, an officer observed a white 2016 Infinity with a
Pennsylvania Registration facing the wrong direction on Beech Street in the vicinity
on Diamond Avenue. The officer approached the vehicle to question the operator’s
conduct.
 
During the investigation it was determined the vehicle was unregistered and
uninsured. The Pennsylvania Registration was expired and issued to a 2001 Jaguar.
The following items were recovered from the vehicle:
- A loaded Ruger LCP .380 handgun with an extended magazine
- A loaded Ruger 9mm handgun
- Plastic bottles labeled Promethazine Hydrochloride and Codeine Phosphate
Michael Biscardi, 22, of 161 Blue Point Road was arrested without incident.
 
Defendant Biscardi is charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a
Weapon 2 nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3 rd Degree and Criminal
Possession of a Controlled Substance 1 st Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday,
November 14, 2023 at First District Court, Hempstead.
