Wildlife Nation Host Jeff Corwin Comes to Smithtown

Jeff Corwin, celebrity speaker and host of ABC’s Wildlife Nation, presents “Tales from the Field with Jeff Corwin,” a Sweetbriar Nature Center fundraising event on 8/27.

Jeff Corwin, renowned biologist, conservationist, environmental journalist, and host of Wildlife Nation on ABC, is coming to Smithtown for a Sweetbriar Nature Center fundraiser on Sunday, August 27 from 6 - 8 p.m.

 

Corwin, who previously hosted The Jeff Corwin Experience on Animal Planet, will be giving a fun, inspiring, highly interactive, and educational program at the newly renovated Smithtown Performing Arts Center. He will share his passion for environmental conservation and discuss the unique challenges each species faces in the world. 

 

General admission tickets for the 7 p.m. lecture are $50. A limited number of VIP tickets for $150 are available and include a special VIP Meet & Greet Cocktail Hour with Jeff Corwin at 6 p.m.

For over two decades, Jeff Corwin has been telling stories of wildlife and nature to global audiences through his many television series on ABC, NBC, Travel Channel, Food Network, Disney Channel, and Discovery. He is currently the creator, executive producer, and presenter of ABC’s Wildlife Nation which explores the story of North American conservation. 

 

About Sweetbriar Nature Center

 

Sweetbriar Nature Center is a private not-for-profit corporation which provides natural science education services for Long Island residents of all ages and engages in native wildlife rehabilitation services. Located at 62 Eckernkamp Drive in Smithtown, Sweetbriar Nature Center is situated on 54 acres of varied garden, woodland, field and wetland habitats on the Nissequogue River.
