An Italian restaurant has replaced the German fare at Locust Valley Inn Bistro. Last year the restaurant announced that new owners were taking over and that meant a brand new menu.

“The Locust Valley Inn Bistro is now under new management,” a 2022 post read. “We are excited for the changes to come as we work towards bringing a fresh, modern dining experience to the North Shore of Long Island!”

Now open, Two25 Italian Restaurant is serving a menu of Italian plates.

The antipasto section of the menu includes Sausage and Broccoli Rabe Wontons and Smoked Calabrese Baby Back Ribs. They also have a number of flatbreads: Margherita, Truffle, Prosciutto and Fig, and Spicy Vodka.

The fresh pasta menu features a Spaghetti Al Pomodoro with tomato sauce, fresh basil and extra virgin olive, Short Rib and Prosciutto Tortelloni with ricotta, crispy prosciutto, garlic chips and a barolo demi glacé. The Pan Seared Ricotta Gnocchi has guanciale, thyme and topped with parmigiano crema.

While some miss the German food, those who have embraced the new restaurant have good things to say.

Victoria gave them five stars on Google.

“Our new favorite restaurant,” she wrote. “The food is phenomenal.”

Natalya agreed.

“Great atmosphere and delicious food,” she said and complimented the renovated space saying it is “elegant, modern and light.”
