Subject of upcoming HBO Documentary is inspired to create not-for-profit

West Sayville, New York - May 4, 2011 - The Staff and Board of Directors of Natasha's Justice Project are pleased to announce the launch of this distinctive charity. NJP strives to end the rape kit backlog and assist survivors of sexual assault through education, advocacy and funding.

The event will take place on May 24th, beginning at 6:30PM at the Milleridge Cottage, 585 North Broadway, Jericho, New York. In addition to the introduction of Natasha Alexenko, the not-for-profit's namesake and Suffolk County resident, guests will be treated to a preview of Emmy-award winning Director Lisa F Jackson's upcoming HBO documentary Sex Crimes Unit, in which Natasha's journey is featured. Attendees will enjoy food and drink, as well as raffles and silent auctions while contributing to a worthy cause.
