Playtime is important for a dogs overall health but not all of Long Island’s residents have the adequate backyard space dogs need to run and stretch their furry legs. Dog parks have cropped up all over the Island in order to remedy this. Dogs are free to run and roam on beaches, in parks and on hiking trails. There’s even a small number of indoor dog parks where dogs can be let loose from their collars to play and interact with others dog on their own. Dog parks are also a great spot for socializing for dogs and dog-lovers alike. Bring your lovable mutt to any of the following dog parks for a romp in the grass and a day in the sun.
