Even though it is snowing, Spring has still arrived! The weather will soon be warming up and Long Islander’s will be outside enjoying the sunshine. There are plenty of great events and outdoor activities for the entire family to enjoy all across the Island.

Spring 5K’s are a popular way to celebrate the arrival of beautiful weather and are a great way to take on a friendly competition while testing out your own endurance. You can run and walk together as a family or have your loved ones cheer you on from the sidelines! Either way, 5K’s are a fun event for everyone that attends.

Some 5K’s support great causes and donate all or portions of their proceeds, while others are just a fun time for everyone! Check out the ones happening within the next few months and see if you’re interested in signing up!
