Ever have trouble getting started in the morning? Have you started crashing in the middle of the work day?  Do you sometimes need a pick-me-up to keep going?  Most of us do and, aside from that rare, dreaded morning person, we can all use a little assistance in fully waking up after climbing out of bed.  Thankfully, there is a large number of coffeehouses out there waiting to help you get that boost of energy in the most delicious way possible. Whether your preference is an espresso, cappuccino, iced macchiato, medium sugar-free hazelnut soy latté with no whipped cream, or just a plain cup of java brewed to perfection, these shops cater to coffee lovers of all kinds.  Most will also offer a variety of baked goods for breakfast and daytime snacks, as well as teas and decaf for anyone who wants a tasty hot beverage but doesn’t need the energy boost.  You could, of course, play it safe and poke your head in a Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks, but why not support a small LI business and stop by your local coffeehouse?  You may even find you like it more than the big chains.
