Remember the good-old days when you could simply play all day as a kid? When you’re holding down a full-time job it’s a different story, but we share with you some ways to still get in some fun and relax after a full day of work. After you leave work, forget the stress and learn to live young again!

For the Thrill Seeker

  • Drinks – Grab a couple of friends or coworkers and go out for drinks. There are plenty of bars and lounges to help you unwind and maybe even catch a sports game on the big screen.
  • Fun Workouts – Yes, you can hit the gym for the treadmill or bar bells, but why not put some fun into the workout. Many gyms and fitness centers may offer sessions for Zumba, spin, dance-aerobics and other fun workout classes.
  • Night Club Dancing – Find a nightclub and dance off the stress. Some may even have live special guest performances to make the night on the dance floor even better!

For the Relaxer & Mind Escaper

  • Yoga – It comes in many forms to help the mind, body and soul. Select from Bikram, Kundalini, Power, Viniyoga, Yin and the many other styles.
  • Movies – Escape reality for an hour or two through a movie flick. Select from various genres like comedy, action/adventure, sci-fi, romance or horror.
  • Shopping – Yes, going shopping is therapy for the mind too! With so many malls on the Island, you’re bound to find a small, or big treat!
  • Class of Interest – Take up a class where your interest lies whether it’s cooking, art, martial arts, dance, knitting or something else.

For the Ones Who Like to Stay Close to Home

  • Turn Up the Music – Think just like the night club, but you get to dance in the comfort of your PJs.
  • Bake – From cookies, brownies, macaroons, cupcakes, muffins to loafs, there’re plenty of easy, quick bake ideas available online.
  • Sit by the Fireplace – Don’t do anything but look at the warm fireplace enjoying a cup of hot cocoa.
